It's time for a brand new Stamp TV Kit and it's a cutie!!!!!!!! True Love designed by Gina!!!

This is the card I posted at the release party.......I love stamping my own dp as you've noticed! LOL I used the dainty little heart snowflake, but instead of the pink you all thought I might do....I went with a winter look!!!

And I love my Fancy Tags 2....so I just had to layer them again with the sentiment! I used Pure Luxury in White and Ocean Mist and then just a touch of pearls and twine.

Now of course I had to make something pink too!!!! LOL

This Kraft colored dp was so perfect for this kit...and my friend Theresa just couldn't pass it up! So she bought it for me and this card is for her! Shhh...she doesn't know that yet! ;) Pure Luxury in Kraft, Black and Innocent Pink and some pink seam binding with flowers and just a tiny twine bow. I distressed the edges....distressed designs are a bit out of my comfort zone, but I'm trying new things!!!

Gina K. Designs Inspiration Hop Day #2...........You've Got Style and Special Occasion Tags!!!

Are you ready for some STYLE??? This cuuuute new stamp set designed by Gina is called You've Got Style and it's the One Free with Three this month!!!!!

For this card I simply stamped the cute hangar image into some homemade dp....I love that technique!! I chose markers to match the colors of the paper I used. Pure Luxury White and Just Peachy and dp. I do love layering my Fancy Tags for sentiments and this little daisy lace is the perfect touch for the pearls!

And now a fun new stamp set designed by Tami called Special Occasion Tags.......

We have several friends that are adopting some very special children....and I was THRILLED that this newest set includes the perfect sentiment!!! It was fun to just randomly stamp the various sentiments into a background and highlight the word Adoption. I used the Spellbinders Oval Nesties. I also used one of my most favorite Pure Luxury colors, Lipstick Red!!!

Happy and Healthy New Year Wishes!!!!!

I'm so excited to share some super FUN news about my daughter!!! She's a college student in her Jr. year pursuing a Graphic Arts Degree!! And there's a brand new Digital Stamp company that has hired her on to do some designing for them!!!! The store is run by the very sweet Michelle (tygerpaws11 on Splitcoast) and is launching TODAY!!! My daughter's artist name is Annie J Designs.........and I want to showcase my favorite image of hers so far!!! She also does Blog Design.....she does all of my blog designs and I change with the seasons!!! LOL

My very sweet friend, Misti, has two boys that are extremely talented in Archery, so that was the idea behind this first set of images called Archery Set. I used the girl archer to make a little bit of a feminine design since my daughter's best friend is also skilled at archery! I kept the color theme black and white with just some touches of red.

Gina K. Designs Inspiration Hop......Stately Flowers 2 and Mountain Wilderness!!!!

Well what a fabulous Release Party last night!!!! Now to hop, hop, hop with some fun samples to get your mojo flowin'!!!!

First up is Melanie's newest Stately Flowers 2...........

I did look up Hawthorn flowers and found they do come in pink!!! Not that it would stop me from coloring ANYTHING pink! LOL I decided to make a feminine sympathy card.....to have on hand. Sympathy cards are so very difficult for me to make....especially on the spot. So I figured I could make some in advance when I'm not focused on the sad event that needs one. I love the Beaded Oval Nesties. I just went with a very floral and feminine color combo, Pure Luxury Grass Green, White and Bubblegum Pink and used ribbon and flowers and pearls.....I hope someone can smile thru tears knowing that they are loved.

Now for the uber cool Theresa and her Mountain Wilderness......oh yes....perfect for my mountain!!!

Now I just had to color these as Grizzly Bears.....(our family's e-mail addy and username has been Grizzlys for years and years!!!). And they are at home in the snow.....just like me!!! I did stamp them a bit off so there's a little "hole" in my snowy scene! LOL I used Pure Luxury White and Smoky Slate for a wintry combination. Also the Fleur de Lis Squares for a fun background accent.

CAS-ual Friday - Matchy Matchy Envie!!!!!

'Tis the season for lots of card-making and sending out smiles and hugs!!!! So this week's challenge CAS-ual Fridays: CFC32 - Make A Matching Envelope is perfect timing!!!

I used the cuuuute new There She Goes stamp set, Holly Jolly!!! I just adore that little snowman!!!! And of course my all-time favorite cardstock color, Gina K.Designs Pure Luxury Lipstick Red. Since my daughter used up most of the Christmas cards I'd made...I need to whip up some CAS cards to send out quick! Of course she did my new winter blog design...so I can't really complain! LOL I just kept it simple with an embossed panel and framing the image with the Fancy Tags 3 Nesties. Of course gotta add a bit of ribbon and bling! ;)

I'll be posting some more Christmas card designs soon....got quite a few to finish up!

Ribbon Carousel Peppermint Twist Challenge!!!!

I LOVE peppermint and candy canes!!! And this week's challenge at the Ribbon Carousel Challenge Blog is an Inspiration Challenge and this is the fun and wonderful photo for us to use as our inspiration:

I love this collage! And I seriously must try a Peppermint Martini!!! LOL Now here's my card....

I used the cuuuute new stamp set, Holly Jolly from There She Goes. And I just had to put my own "twist" on this peppermint challenge and use pinks instead of red! I used Gina K. Pure Luxury Cardstock in White, Passionate Pink and Bubblegum Pink. And then just a bit of pink Baker's Twine and Kaisercraft Rhinestones. I colored with my Copics - RV25 and RV21 which match the cardstock pretty perfectly!

Gina K. Designs Inspiration Hop Day 3!!!

I love this sweet Master Butterfly Duo.....

This is just a super simple CAS design.....I just stamped the butterfly in blue and then the sentiment over top of it and then used my beloved Scor Pal for some dimension and texture. Just a pop of ribbon....no bling!!! Are you all shocked??? LOL The cardstock is Pure Luxury White and Ocean Mist.

Now for the very sweet Free With 3 this month....Inspirational Blocks....

I did something similar with this little 3x3 Notecard set......I used Pure Luxury Green Apple, Wild Dandelion and Bubblegum Pink to make a fun, summery gift set! This was also for my Stamp TV Release Party challenge to use summery or pastel colors. I love Baker's Twine and had to add some to each one along with matching Rhinestones.

Gina K. Designs Inspiration Hop Day 2!!!!

Oh so many beautiful flower images this release and Theresa's Dogwood And Butterfly is stunning!!!

I looked up Dogwoods and found that there are pink ones!!! So I enjoyed my Copic coloring!! I used Copics R85, R83, R81 and RV000 for the flowers. I had to use some of the perfect and yummy ribbon that my very sweet and amazing friend you may know as Crafty Math Chick sent me!!! She spoiled me with some amazing ribbon and other craft goodies!!! And I was thrilled that 2 of the ribbons were just perfect for this pink and white card!! I used Pure Luxury White and Bubblegum Pink and also Spellbinders Ovals.

Now Tami's Label Borders are super versatile and fun!

This set lends itself to making simple yet elegant cards and especially for making card sets as gifts!! I used red and white because the red just POPS! And the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder adds texture so simply. And this stamp set easily fits in with Tami's other sets!!!

Now another lovely little Duo....Friends Are Flowers.

I love making my own dp and I used the flower image here to do just that. I used my Copics...Y18, Y02, Y00. And the sentiment of course is layered with my favorite Fancy Tags 2!!! I used Pure Luxury White and Wild Dandelion cardstock and some yellow Rhinestones.

Gina K. Designs Inspiration Hop Day 1

Wow!!!! What a release!!! So many new Gina K. Designs stamp sets and images....absolute eye candy!!!! Did you party with us and place your order for stamps you couldn't resist??? LOL Well join us now for some super inspiration for the awesome new stamps!!!

First up are 2 brand new sets designed by Melanie Muenchinger......I am in LOVE!!!! Stately Flowers includes my very own Colorado Columbine!!! I had some of the traditional blue variety in my wedding bouquet many years ago! Columbines have an obvious special place in my heart!!

Many of you may not know that the Rocky Mountain Columbine comes in many color varieties.....and we have several of them that grow on our mountain property!! They're all just spectacular!!! Unfortunately we had much bear activity this summer since the bird feeder got hung up directly over the Columbines on the upper deck. The naughty bears foraged for the dropped birdseed among the flowers......but we hope they still survived!! We'll find out next summer! LOL For this card I used Pure Luxury in White, Grass Green, Wild Dandelion, Lipstick Red and Lovely Lavender to complement the flower color combos.

This next card uses Melanie's next new set, Make A Statement.....it's a companion set to the first one and will go with all of the State Flowers as Melanie will be releasing sets eventually to cover all 50 States!!!

Of course I HAD to color a Columbine pink!!! Heehee!! And make a special invitation to come visit me in my home State!! You will LOVE all the travel and home pride possibilities with this set!!!

Now Gina is also introducing several mini sets...or Duos!! Watch for some with most of the releases!!! I'm using Master Butterfly for this simple CAS design.

I love this flower....it's just a perfect autumn bloom!!! I just made a quick 4x4 card and enjoyed coloring with my Copics! I kept to an autumn-y color.....which is one of my faves.....Pure Luxury Lipstick Red!! Yes, I know......you all expected pink, eh??? Heehee!!! I put some tiny black pearls in the flower center and used some red twine for just some simple embellishing.

It's Day 3....and first up is a very special set called You Go Girl designed by Tami Mayberry. So perfect for encouraging our fabulous girlfriends!!!

And so many of us have friends and family that are battling Breast Cancer.....so PINK along with the awesome sentiment is to encourage someone who is indeed currently battling. I wanted to make it simple so that focus was on the message and encouragement. Of course Pure Luxury in Bubblegum Pink fits the bill! This card is one of many that I'll be sending to MD Anderson in Houston, TX for a Breast Cancer Card Drive for their patients, staff and families. Please click on the "Hope You Can Cling To" Badge at the top of my blog for more info if you'd like!

This final set is the Free With 3 this month designed by Gina and called Pleasant Plurals. It's a great way to send greetings from the whole group or family!

I LOVE dp...no surprise, right? The Echo Park Holly Jolly Christmas is soooo cuuuute!!! So easy to let it do all the work and then just pop on a sentiment from this stamp set and you've got a card ready to send as a Christmas card with a family photo or give with a little gift!! I layered the Spellbinders Fancy Tags and Fancy Tags 2 and of course added a bit of bling! LOL

Yeeehawww!!! My favorite time of year is upon us......AND also in this newest Wishing You Joy Stamp TV Kit!!!! Snow....holidays.....treats......PERFECT!!!!

I've made a few cards with this fabulous kit.....this one I shared at the release party....

I thought it would be fun to get a little house all dolled up for the holidays....including the tree in the window and the lights along the rooftop!!! And I couldn't resist some of my VERY favorite dp ever.....Basic Grey Jovial which just perfectly matches so much Pure Luxury cardstock.....here I used White and Cranberry Tart. Gotta have bling for the holidays dontchaknow!!! LOL

Here's another card I made....a CAS card....I'd like to point out there is NO bling except Stickles!!! Yes...you all may faint now!!! LOL

Isn't this little guy just darling??!! I actually stamped him twice and then popped him up. See how easy it is to make fun holiday cards but super quick ones?!! I love my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug Folder so much.....it reminds me of snow falling with winter cards!!

Gina K. Designs Inspiration Hop Day 1................Basket Additions and Strength And Hope!!!

Some fun and fabulous new Gina K. Designs stamp sets were released last night...........I sure hope you're enjoying all the awesome eye candy and inspiration on this hop!!

First up is Melanie's new set, Basket Additions that coordinates with Holiday Basket........

I wanted to make a little basket to fill with some crafty goodies for a friend.....and since I had no template I just used my Spellbinders Grand Calibur and Grand Oval and Scallop Oval Nesties to make the basket and matching card. I just used some cardstock strips to connect the ovals to make the simple 2-sided basket. I used Pure Luxury in White and Bubblegum Pink and Basic Grey Indie Bloom dp. I couldn't resist studding the scallops with pearls cuz I love my bling!!! LOL

Next up is the special set designed by Theresa called Strength And Hope............

Theresa will be donating all her proceeds from Strength and Hope, for the first month of sales, to cancer research.

I really love this elegant butterfly!! And I have so much fun making shrinky dink earrings!! So just a simple card design in black and pink matches the black and pink earrings. I used Echo Park Holly Jolly Christmas dp....I do so love my dp!!! I used the matching Houndstooth Cuttlebug Folder to emboss the white.

Children are so very precious.....and some are born with some special needs......please join us for a very special Card Drive for Kids with Spina Bifida blog hop! Members of Gina K.'s Design Team have come together to host a hop where we will share with you cards we created for some very special kids!

Here's a photo of the four adorable kids, please meet Madison, Logan, Tanner, and Rebekah.

Here are the details on how you can participate:

Create a fun, uplifting card or cards for one or all the kids listed below. The cards can be anything cheery, encouraging, supportive, etc. Please DO NOT send sorry, get well or anything like that. Remember, we want to cheer them up. The kids (you can click on their names to read more about each of them):
- Madison: 2 years old
- Logan: 2 years old. (turning 3 on October 17th!!)
- Tanner: 2 years old (turning 3 on December 25)
- Rebekah: 9 years old
All cards need to have a message in it for the child/family. Please also sign your name and where you are from. On the card envelope, write the name of the child. Please, don't seal the envelope, as the parents might want to read the cards before the kids see them.
Cards must be received by October 31st to be eligible for the drawing.
Your name will go into the drawing if you send in a card for each of the kids, so that means a total of four cards.
Mail your card(s) to Giovana along with a piece of paper with your name, address, e-mail address and blog (if you have one). This will help a lot to contact the winner a lot faster!

It's called Snow Much Fun!! Some of the dp I used is Basic Grey Nordic Holiday and Echo Park Holly Jolly Christmas.

Operation Julie's Smile!!!

We're sending smiles from all across the world for Julie!!!!!

“The creative blogging community is coming together this weekend to help one of our friends, Julie Ranae. You may know her as the Design Team Coordinator for many wonderful companies from bakers twine, die cuts, rubber stamps and more. What many people don’t know about Julie Ranae is that she has had some pretty major dental surgeries in her lifetime due to medication she had to take as a child. It was in her plans to think about having all of her teeth replaced at some point in the next 5 years, a decision that was pretty easy to plan out.

But then it happened…she chipped her front teeth on a weekend a month ago. The dentist told her there was no way to save them & that it was his recommendation that she give in and have them all her teeth removed soon, but for that day, they needed to get her front teeth done so her gums could begin to heal. He said he would 'work out payments with her to have ALL this work done...but when she called to make her appt for the first step of impressions, they told her the amount of money that was needed and that the 'payments' applied only to the two teeth that were extracted that day. Her husband Paul

was with her & that too, was his understanding as well. So this is how she has found herself in this situation…Needing at least $4000 to get started and another $3000 to finish the process…a total of $7000.

Nicole Rixon, owner of Sweet Stamp Shop put together this benefit after finding out about this situation and before Julie Ranae knew it, it took flight!

Because she is an event organizer by trade, she has taken on the job of organizing all of the blogs in this hop as her way of ‘working overtime’ for what she needs, the same as if she were able to work overtime at an outside job to pay for the work to be done.

It is the goal of all of these generous friends & sponsors to help make this situation more do-able for our friend so that she can share a brand new smile with all of us soon.

A truly wonderful and sweet and talented lady that many of you know............AJ Otto..........is currently battling breast cancer! She IS winning and I know she will triumph!!! It's with this special lady in mind that I will be stamping each and every challenge!!! Love you AJ!!!!

Preserving memories has a LOT of meanings....doesn't it??? From beautiful scrapbook pages....to gorgeous frames....to.....ummmm.......altered preserve cans???????

Well....you should have come from the UBER talented Tami Mayberry's Blog......

Yep.....that's my take on this theme!!! LOL I used some various fun canning jars and I've got a candle, candy jar and a little decorative 4x4 gift card for a little Hostess Thank You set!! I think it's special to give a little thank you and home-made is always best!! Often I include actual preserves I've made too, but I haven't made any this year yet! LOL I used Tami's All Occasion Tags and Theresa's Heartfelt. The Pure Luxury Cardstock colors of Sweet Mango and Cranberry Tart are perfect for Autum! The Memento Tangelo, Rich Cocoa and Rhubarb Stalk match beautifully. I found some little wooden tag embellies and stamped on them and added them on with Baker's Twine. And then I sure do LOVE my Spellbinder's Nesties and used the Fleur de Lis Squares. Then fill with whatever treats you want!!!

Touch Twin Color Challenge ~ Winter Girl Blues!!

YES!!! I'm sooo happy winter is almost here!! Well, almost here for my mountain anyway! ;) And so how could I resist a cute winter image for this latest Touch Twin Markers Blog Color Challenge.....

So far I only have the Touch Twin Set A.....oh yes....I'll be adding to that collection!!! LOL So these were the closest colors I had to match. And this cutie is My Favorite Things Pure Innocence Merry Kissmas. I used Gina K. Designs Pure Luxury cardstock in White and Tan Leather and Basic Grey Nordic Holiday dp. I found some fun snowflakes (yes, I actually have a box entirely for winter bling!! LOL) and then used Stickles on these little guys too!! Yep...sparkly and fun....just what winter is!!!

Gina has designed SUCH a cuuuute little set.....yep, in time for some holiday fun!!!! This new set is called My True Love Gave To Me.....

I thought a little gift card set would be fun with this set.

I love the festive Pure Luxury Lipstick Red and Fresh Asparagus! I thought these would be a nice little thank you set to give as a gift.....very simple with just a touch of coloring and twine!

This month's Free with Three is a yummy coffee set called Cool Beans...

Mmmmm.....this smells so good with the coffee aroma! I thought this would make a cute little hostess gift or any kind of little thinking of you.

I stamped the images in StazOn Jet Black and then heat set them. That way I can still use my Copics to color. I still was careful around the very edges, but didn't have any issues with bleeding. This is sitting on my stamp table and smells so good!! This will be heading to a friend soon! ;)

YES!!!!! Summer is over....our weather is cool and my thoughts turn to snowmen!! LOL So how could I resist the cute snowman in Theresa's new set, Celebrate The Season....

Paper: Pure Luxury White, Smoky Slate, Lipstick Red

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; Copics

Accessories: Versamark, Sticky Stuff, Glitter, Twine

I do love my glitter! LOL I used one of my favorite techniques! After stamping my snowmen and coloring them, then I take the Versamark pad and make sure to "ink up" the entire panel evenly. Then sprinkle some glue embossing powder, Gina carries the Judikins Sticky Stuff. Make sure the entire panel is covered and then tamp off the excess. Use your embossing tool to heat it up until it's shiny and sticky. Then sprinkle the loose glitter over the entire panel, making sure to cover it completely before tamping off all the excess. Voila! That's it!! It's such a fun look!! And yes...a bit messy! Good thing my hubby doesn't mind a glittery hug!!! LOL Just a bit of silver twine and then the 2 colors to match my snowmen, Pure Luxury Lipstick Red and Smoky Slate. Give this technique a try and see how fun it is!!

I decided to do some fun paper-piecing with this set....I love paper-piecing....but I tried something new in paper-piecing my entire card and creating a scene with dp!!! I used the cute Jillibean Soup Dutch Mustard and My Minds Eye Fly A Kite. Pure Luxury White and Sweet Corn were great for tying all the colors together. Of course I had to put some Chocolate Pearls in the flower centers for that touch of bling!!

It's September!!!! Yes...that means already time to get crafty with some Christmas ideas!!!! Melanie's new stamp set, Holiday Baskets, complements many of her other sets.

This card is just a simple 4x4 gift card with a Spellbinders Blossom 1 Nestie window. The poinsettias and the dp do all the work!! LOL I just colored the poinsettias with Copics and then used some of my favorite Basic Grey Jovial dp!! Pure Luxury Lipstick Red matches the dp perfectly! I used the next size smaller Nestie for the sentiment inside so that the dp would also show up when the card is closed.

Now what better way to cheer someone up than with this little bear from Rupa's new set, Under The Weather.

I love background stamping and, of course, copic coloring...........

Pink flamingos...you know I love them!!! And just had to add some pearls for these snazzy little girlies too!! And black pearls for their eyes. I used a bit of a peachy pink to color them so that the Pure Luxury Innocent Pink matched just right!

I like to challenge myself to make masculine cards sometimes....but they do still have a bit of my style!! So gotta have some fun Fancy Tags 1 and 3 and just a touch of bling! This set has some great all-occasion sentiments!

Gina K. Designs Inspiration Hop Day #2.......Basket Buddies and Heartfelt!!!

Have you seen Melanie's adorable Basket Buddies set......

I just couldn't resist those puppy faces!!! And I so enjoyed coloring them.....one is a yellow lab and one a chocolate lab!!!

I thought this would be a cute little gift for someone who got a new puppy!! I stamped the adorable little paws as a background for the little 3 x 3 gift card and on the box. Coloring on the treat box worked just fine but I had to be patient and let it dry for a couple of days! I used Pure Luxury White and Black Onyx and colored with Copics....that's it! Very simple little gift!! Well I had to go buy the teeny tiny little milk bones since I only have really big ones since my doggies are big ole beasties! LOL

Next is a beautiful set designed by Theresa called Heartfelt....

This is just perfect for Autumn....which is right around the corner!!! At least I hope so!! LOL

I thought it would be fun to make a little Fall scene by masking the pumpkins and stamping the fence a couple times. I used the Leafy Branch Cuttlebug Folder on the Green Apple panel and some Jute 'cuz I like the rustic look with these colors. Pure Luxury Green Apple and Sweet Mango.

I really wanted to showcase the butterfly and am enjoying making more CAS cards now and then.....so I had some lacey dp that I used to stamp the butterfly in Memento Pear Tart. I stamped the sentiment also in the same ink on Pure Luxury Ivory and layered with Green Apple. Just a few rhinestones....and a simple, quick birthday card. And if you're like me you need last-minute birthday cards because of forgetfulness! LOL

I just LOVE this cuuuute set!! I needed a little gift and thought a little 3x3 thank you notecard set with a little box. Little cards are so quick to whip up with Nesties and dp! I stamped the sentiment and then colored the watermelon and popped it up.

Just a few cuts and Nesties cut out and these come together very quickly. I used the Scalloped Squares and Lacey Squares Nesties. The dp is Jillibean Soup Watermelon Gazpacho. I used Pure Luxury Cranberry Tart and Lemon Drop and colored the watermelon with my Copics.

I followed the box tutorial on Splitcoast here: 3 x 3 Notecard Box. It really is a quick and simple little gift idea for hostesses, teachers, graduation.....really any occasion!!

I used the Oval & Fancy Tags 1 Nesties and a scalloped edge punch for some fun layering. This stamp set also pairs with Vogue Vases beautifully!!!

WoooHooo....did you have a FABULOUS July 4th weekend??? And are you ready for some new Gina K. Designs inspiration with the newest sets that were released last Thursday??? I know I am!!!

I had to go with some pretty pink!! I used the Spellbinders Lacey Circles and Floral Doily die sets. And layers....lots of layers with some bling!! LOL I am loving this wrinkled ribbon lately....methinks I need all the colors they make that stuff in! Ha! I just colored the trumpet blooms softly and sponged the inside of the die to help them pop just a bit more. The cool pink woodgrain dp is from Basic Grey Sweet Threads which I love!! And my cardstock is Pure Luxury White, Innocent Pink and Fresh Asparagus.

Next is a fun set by Tami called All Occasion Tags....

Just Us Girls (JUGS) Challenge #89.......A Mousie Birthday!!

Heehee....ok he's not a mousie but he is cute AND he fits the JUGS color challenge too!!! LOL Yep....I'm that good! ROFL!!!

I don't play nearly enough challenges...so that's my summer goal...to get out there and just play, play, play....summertime IS playtime, isn't it??? ;) Today I'm playing in the JUGS - Just Us Girls Challenge.....and it's a color challenge!!

Now aren't those fun summery colors??

My colors are just a bit different as I'm using Gina K Pure Luxury......White, Red Hot, Green Apple, Ocean Mist and Wild Dandelion. The colors in the Echo Park Walk In The Park match beautifully!! I got some new Mousies!!! Yes I did.....I know, I know.....but House Mouse is just so dang cuuuute!! How can you resist this for a summertime birthday??

I often struggle with masculine designs....being a girlie girl who loves pink and bling ya know! LOL But I managed a masculine AND a clean and simple card! Are you surprised?? LOL

I just love this peaceful little rowboat image from Theresa's set Follow Your Dreams!! It's a perfect set for the guy cards we need to make!! I used some of the "guy" colors of the Pure Luxury cardstock.....Sweet Mango, Tan Leather, Green Apple and Chocolate. I even kept my embellies minimal with the twine and brads. I did add just a touch of Stickles to the water though! LOL

Theresa's set features elegant lighthouses and stunning birds!!! I used the sketch that Tami has as this week's CPS (Card Positioning Systems) challenge! I flipped the sketch on it's side and went for a masculine, distressed look. I generally love to color any image....but my art student daughter told me that she really liked the impact of this image just stamped in black. I'm trusting her! LOL I used our Pure Luxury in Red Hot and In The Navy and also the Distressed Stripes CB Folder. Make sure you hop on over to the C.P.S. Heehee!! Rupa's set is called Birthday Bash and includes these adorable little critters!!! And I just wanted to show them off so I used a very CAS design.....see? I'm enjoying CAS a bit more often!! LOL This also uses our newer Key Lime Pure Luxury color.....ooooo it's bright and YUMMY!!!!

One of my most favorite color combinations is pink and chocolate!!! So I used Pure Luxury in White, Bubblegum Pink and Chocolate. And Gina's Pink Gingham Ribbon is also some of my fave!!! Now I had to...just HAD to add some pearls....LOL!! Now I'm craving a sweet treat.....I think I'll bake!! LOL

Oh YIKES! With all the Blogger issues.....my post went POOOOF! So I'm doing just a quick write-up to get my Gina K. post back up asap!!! Unfortunately all the lovely comments from so many of you are gone with the wind! :(

I made this card at our apartment where we stay part of the week for hubby's job.....and although I've got quite a bit of stampin' stuff there.....I'm a bit limited still. So I had to jury-rig an idea for Sewing or Stitching for this technique hop.......

So I used a 1/8" hole punch and some twine....and then I couldn't resist adding a pearl in between each stitch. I love my bling!! I decided this would be a fun color combo.....nice and summery! I used Pure Luxury Sweet Mango and Lipstick Red. I used Gina's Garden Silhouettes and Memento Ladybug ink.

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday......Hi Sweetie!!!

We have heard the sound of hummers at our house!! Granted we've also had another snowstorm....but all the more reason to hang out at least one feeder so the little guys can have something sweet!!! So in keeping with that....this is my design for the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC116)........to make a card for someone under the age of 13. This is going to a friend's 10 y.o. daughter!!

I combined the FTTC challenge with the Splitcoast Color Challenge since the colors were just perfect for the stamp sets Berry Sweet and Humming Along!!! Since I don't have SU colors I used Gina K. Pure Luxury colors of Kraft, White, Smoky Slate and Lipstick Red. Some dp from the Basic Grey Curio pack matched wonderfully...I do love me some dp!! Oh and bling too ya know!!! LOL Although it's only pearls and some Stickles on the little hummer.

Lili Of The Valley Thursday Challenge.....Love Is In The Air!!!

I love the adorable factor in Lili of the Valley stamps.....and this little ellie totally captured my heart when I saw it!!! The Lili of the Valley Thursday Challenge was just perfect for me to ink up this little cutie!!!!

The theme is Love Is In The Air....and looooook!!!! She's blowing heart bubbles!!!! I kept the layout rather simple so little Ellie could be the center of attention!! LOL Yes....I have issues....cute little animal stamps make me SQUEEEE!!!!!! =) I used Gina K Pure Luxury (of course!!) in White, Innocent Pink and Smoky Slate. I used the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug Folder and some of my favorite Pink Gingham Ribbon. Gotta add some bling with the pearls and Stickles!! Heehee!! Hope you enjoy this cutie and are inspired to play along!!!

Day 3 brings us What's The Dirt? designed by Gina...........a fun, cute and perfect Spring/Summer set!!!

For this one I wanted that beautiful sentiment to be the focal point!! So I just used a floral embossing folder and then popped the sentiment and some accents in Pure Luxury Red Hot!

I also stayed CAS with this design....some of you may have seen this one at the release party. I AM getting a bit more fond of CAS! LOL And yes, there IS pink and bling on this card!! I'm still MEEEEEE after all!!!! ;) I just love the little trio of clay pots!! I used Pure Luxury Green Apple on this card...one of my VERY favorite Pure Luxury colors!!! I used the Blossom Nestabilities to border the image. I LOVE my Nesties!!!

So for this card I used the little birdie silhouette from Branching Out and one of the sentiments from Follow Your Dreams. I decided a cute country look would be fun...so I used Pure Luxury in Red Hot and Baby Boy Blue, which looks like denim to me! I love gingham and denim! The Memento Summer Sky Inkpad matches, so I made my own dp. Now I did have to add some pearls...I mean really....we DO wear pearls with our jeans in the country!!! LOL

For this card I also combined both sets....this time I wanted an Autumn birthday card for a special someone....so I used Pure Luxury in Sweet Mango and Chocolate. After stamping the vines I used the flower to stamp some blooms and then made a matching sentiment panel using the Scalloped Oval Nestabilities.

I combined the two sets to create a polka dot bg in red and then stamped the silhouette in black. I really do love this color combo...and I figured you'd all like a teeny bit of a break from pink! LOL The Timeless Textures are soooo fun to use.....really a million ways to use them!! The Garden Silhouettes have such lovely and elegant images and some all-occasion simple sentiments. I used Pure Luxury in White, Black Onyx and Red Hot.

Welcome to a fun Gina K. Designs Design Team hop! Today we are showing techniques of all kinds as featured on Stamp TV. We hope you enjoy hopping through the variety of techniques and are inspired to try something new!

Today I'm showing a combination of 3 techniques......they are simple, but you can get quite creative with limited supplies by combining techniques!

I used the lovely new stamp set, Warm With Love, designed by the fabulous Theresa Momber. I kept the colors to pastels and used Pure Luxury in Lemon Drop, Ocean Mist, Creme de Menthe, and some Samantha Walker dp. The techniques I used were: Simple Copic Coloring and then Partial Embossing and finally shimmered up the lake using Crystal Lacquer. I hope you enjoy all the amazing eye candy the DT is sharing and watching some of the wonderful technique videos that Gina has shared over the past couple of years on Stamp TV!!!!

Stamp TV Sketch With Fun New Gelatos!!!!

Spring is here! Along with 6 inches of new snow!!!! ROFL!!!! Yes, that is what Spring is like in the mountains!! And I love it!!! BUT....I was in quite a flowery mood when I was stamping, and yellow has been one of my favorite colors since I was little!!! It's just so cheery and happy!!!

This week's Stamp TV Sketch Challenge is a beautiful one! Be sure to come on over and play along!!!

The newest Free With Three set, Stenciled Spring is so fun, and well, Springy!!!! LOL Now....instead of ink, I used my brand new Faber-Castell Gelatos!!!! Now don't they sound delicious??!!! Heehee!! My wonderfully talented and very sweet friend and fellow DT member, Jennie, completely enabled me so that I just had to buy them!!! LOL The description says, "like lipstick for your paper"! And yes, that is a perfect description!!! This is the first time I used them and I just applied them directly to the stamps and then stamped the image onto the paper. I hope to learn a lot of fun techniques with these!!! I used Pure Luxury Cardstock and just a little swatch of some of my fave Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses dp!!! Since I'm apparently challenged in attempting to figure out how to use my Stamp-a-majig, I just stamp the sentiment onto practice paper and then hope I get it right when I stamp onto the cardstock! LOL Gotta add at least a touch of bling too you know!!!! ;)

Here is another hop to thank the FABULOUS team at Spellbinders!!!! They recently gifted the Gina K. Design Team with the amazing Grand Calibur...and let me tell you....we are all just LOVIN' it!!!! You should have come here from the very sweet and talented Jennie's Blog..............

I really do love how I can make multiple cuts in one run through!!!! And the cuts are so clean....the Pendants and Borders are so simple to use!!!

I used both the Lacey Circles and Scalloped Circles Nestabilities. Gina will carrying the newest Spellbinders products very soon along with the must-haves she already has!!! Well I certainly think they're must-haves....I am addicted to my Nesties!! LOL Since our theme is SPRING, I used the new Springtime Silhouettes Stamp TV Kit and my Memento Markers. The soft pastel dp is also from the kit! I do love my pink...and this time I used Pure Luxury Fresh Asparagus in combination with the soft pink. Had to have just a touch of tiny pearls and also some Stickles in the flower centers. I love the bling ya know!!! I used Gina's White Organdy Ribbon cuz you gotta have ribbon! LOL The layout is from today's Stamp TV Sketch Challenge......be sure to play along!!!

It's SPRING!!!! Yes.....actually up here on my mountain it is too.....we certainly are hopeful for some of our Spring snows though as it was a super mild and dry winter. But Spring snows are cool because they're wet and they melt right away and then it's sunny and green!!! Just like my smilie there! LOL

Now that you are ready for spring............here is our newest Stamp TV Kit.....called Springtime Silhouettes............

Such a fun, celebratory collection of sweeeeet images!!!!

Today I went Kraft!!! Yes.....trying to branch out and make some fun designs....but I still snuck a bit 'o' the pink and bling in them! LOL I used Pure Luxury Kraft along with Lipstick Red and Bubblegum Pink. I used the Polka Dot Cuttlebug Folder and the Spellbinders Circle and Blossom Nesties. The dp I used is from a previous STV kit but I so love the colors!! LOL

Are you ready for Day 3??? Let me tell you....this release is just CHOCK FULL of cuteness and fun!!!

First up is Rupa's adorable Cute As A Bug.

I love this little snail!!! I decided to paper piece him....I also have plans to color him but I was in a total pink and yellow mood!!! LOL This dp is from the newest Stamp TV kit!! It matches beautifully with Pure Luxury Bubblegum Pink and Lemon Drop!! Just a touch of bling in the corner!

This is the elegant Lovely Labels 3 designed by Nina.

I thought I'd make a rare masculine design! LOL It's been a while since I sent my FIL a card....and I have the BESTEST in-loves in the world!!!! So I stamped 2 of the label images and one of the sentiments in Memento Rich Cocoa. The Pure Luxury colors Chocolate, Cranberry Tart and Fresh Asparagus are perfect masculine colors!! But you know I just HAD to put a LITTLE bit 'o' bling!!! Heehee!!

And here is Tami's cute Perfect Pennants.

I just had to use PIIIIIIIIIIIINK some more.....and bling......lots and lots of tiny black rhinestones on the pennants!! This is my comfort zone for SHORE!!!!! LOL Now you'll notice I DID use some buttons.....a rare embellie for me to use even though I have lots! Yep.....embellie addict is what I am!! Proud of it too!! ;) This is the fun and bright Pure Luxury Passionate Pink!!! And Gina K. Buttons in the cuuuuutest jar!!! I wanted to make sure I made a traditional "Lee" card.....lots of pink and bling!!! After all...Melanie's nickname for this stamp set is Bring the BLEENG! LOL I thought it would be fun to see the contrast of stamped images with one that uses the image as a guide for bling!! And I love the color combo of the Pure Luxury Black Onyx and Bubblegum Pink!! A touch of velvet ribbon too!

This is Asela's Make A Splash.

I couldn't resist a fun, glitzty card for an undersea theme!!! I used tulle and pearls and glitter, OH MY!!! LOL Some watery texture with the Spots and Dots Cuttlebug Folder. I love the bright Pure Luxury Turquoise Sea color!!! And how you can resist these little smilie cuties?? LOL

This is a gorgeous set by Theresa called Warm With Love.

I thought a frilly design would suit this sweet butterfly!! And I do love some of the elegant Webster's Pages and this Pure Luxury Lipstick Red matches perfectly!! I also love the look of the wrinkled ribbon and a dainty Spellbinders shape!!
