Mousies Make Me Smile!!!!

Ohhhh how I LOVE my House Mouse!!!!!  Here are a few of my recent mousie cards!!!

I just love these SWEET mousies and decided to make 2 completely different looks with the candy canes!!!  I had to first go with a traditional red and white candy cane design!!  And then just because it's Spring (well not here, but for some of you! LOL) I had to do some fun bright colors on another card!!!  I made these as birthday cards because I'll use any design year round!!!  LOL

I used my favorite cardstock of course....Gina K. Pure Luxury in White, Red Hot, Wild Dandelion, Ocean Mist and Sweet Mango.  The dp is Paper Studio Sugar & Spice.  I love the sweet Martha Stewart Heart border punch too!!!  I use my beloved Copics for coloring and still need a lot of practice in shading, etc....but I sure do love coloring with them!!!

And this one is for my daughter.....she LOVES tea!!!  It's a bit hard to tell but there's just a touch of Stickles on each sugar cube!!!  LOL  I used Pure Luxury in White, Bubblegum Pink, Grass Green, Lovely Lavender and Wild Dandelion.  Of course my Copics to color!!!  And some bling.....ALLLLLLLLWAYS some bling from me of course!!! 

Well.....besides doing some general cleaning and re-organizing of my Stamp Room.....I make sure to get some stampin' time in almost every day!!!!  Especially on days I don't feel well......it makes me smile to stamp!!!

Gina K. Designs Sneak Peek Day #4.............Framed Greetings!!!!

Oooo lookeee at another fabulous Spellbinder's Nestability matching stamp!!!!  This one is designed by Gina and oh so pretty!!!!

I am loving this color combination of the Smoky Slate and the Innocent Pink Pure Luxury!!  I stamped the image in black and fussy cut it and then used the matching Labels 16 to cut out the pink layer.  I colored the image with Copics and of course added a bit 'o' bling!!!!  ;)  This is a 4x4 notecard size....perfect to go with a gift and quick to make!!

Had to make some rockin' dp in red and black......this set just screamed Pure Luxury Red Hot and Black to me!  The glittered drum panel is more red than it looks in the light with the glitter glare! LOL  I don't know if it shows up well but the black panel is embossed with the Allegro CB Folder.  This set is utter fun for those teen designs especially!!!



This next set by Nina is called Christ Is Risen.....

The "Love" sentiment fits perfectly  with Nina's set Lovely Labels 2, so I couldn't resist just a sweet Spring card to send some Love to someone special!!  I used Pure Luxury in White, Wild Dandelion and Innocent Pink along with  dp.  Just a few pearls and some of my favorite ribbon finish it off....it's actually quite CAS.....well for me it is!!!  LOL

Gina K. Sneak Peeks Day #2................Little Critters and Chocolate Bunnies!!!

Heehee!!!  Are you ready for Day 2???!!!!!

Let's start with the amazingly talented artist Theresa Momber!!!  Her newest set is chock full of cute critters!!!  In fact it's called Little Critters!!

I couldn't resist this froggy....and so I paper pieced him using Basic Grey Pyrus.  The colors are perfect for a foresty look....yep...making up my own words again! LOL  And the Pure Luxury Tan Leather adds such great texture for a masculine design.....yes I said masculine!  The bling IS Ivory and Green and Brown after all!!!!  ;)




Now a fun set from the talented Illustrator Asela Hopkins called Chocolate Bunnies!!!!

I couldn't resist this sentiment!!!  I think you'll see a lot from the DT since we do all have quite the sense of humor!!!!  LOL  I decided I could just layer and bling up the bunny!!!  And some colors I like with the chocolate color that may be a bit more unusual......Pure Luxury Cardstock in Lipstick Red and Ocean Mist.  Couldn't resist also "biting" the ear off with a Nestie!!

Are you ready for SPRINGTIME colors and images and designs by Gina K Designs.............OH MY!!!!!

First up are 2 sets from our fabulous Illustrator.....Melanie Muenchinger!!!!  She has a beautiful set called Spring Basket and a super cute companion set to it called Basket Blessings!!!!

I stamped the basket in Pure Luxury Tan Leather for the texture and used the Houndstooth Cuttlebug Folder on Ivory for more "baskety" texture too.  Is that a word???  LOL  I kept the colors in soft pastels with just a touch of Stickles for the flower centers.  I stamped one row of flowers and then used a partial row to make a full basket of blooms!
