Gina K. Designs Inspiration Hop Day #1.........Holiday Basket and Under The Weather!!!

It's September!!!!  Yes...that means already time to get crafty with some Christmas ideas!!!!  Melanie's new stamp set, Holiday Baskets, complements many of her other sets.

Paper: Pure Luxury Lipstick Red, White; Basic Grey Jovial

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; Copics

Accessories: Swiss Dots EF, Pearls, Stickles, Spellbinders Blossom 1 Nesties

This card is just a simple 4x4 gift card with a Spellbinders Blossom 1 Nestie window.  The poinsettias and the dp do all the work!!  LOL  I just colored the poinsettias with Copics and then used some of my favorite Basic Grey Jovial dp!!  Pure Luxury Lipstick Red matches the dp perfectly!  I used the next size smaller Nestie for the sentiment inside so that the dp would also show up when the card is closed.



Now what better way to cheer someone up than with this little bear from Rupa's new set, Under The Weather.

I thought I'd make a get well card for a little boy since I rarely have those on hand.  I used some pearls for his little eyes and colored him so he'd look a bit more like a well-loved teddy bear! ;)  I hope it brings a little guy a smile!!!
