Gina K. Sneak Peeks Day #2............Nesting and The Giving Tree!!!!

Smiley from millan.net

Ready for more peekies????  Our family loves bird-watching and feeding the little guys too!  Birds and trees are tonite's theme for peeks!!

First is Asela's new set, Nesting.

  • Stamps: Nesting
  • Paper: Pure Luxury Ivory, Chocolate
  • Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa
  • Accessories: Ribbon
I so love all the tiny details in this stamp set!!!!  The feather is just gorgeous!!  So I made my own background dp with it!!  I was going for a monochromatic look that would make a great masculine card design, so I kept to a Pure Luxury Chocolate and Ivory color scheme.  Just a touch of ribbon with the sheer chocolate I had.  I know I'll enjoy coloring this set too, but I do enjoy CAS more than I used to!  LOL

Now is Theresa's adorable set, The Giving Tree.

  • Stamps: The Giving Tree
  • Paper: Pure Luxury White, Chocolate, Bubblegum Pink; Basic Grey dp
  • Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Memento Angel Pink
  • Accessories: Ribbon, Pearls
This time I just had to go with some pink!!  LOL  Actually this is my all-time favorite color combo, pink and chocolate!!!  And how perfect is the tree image with some sweet little hearts for the branches!!  I had some crushed velvet ribbon and pearls....cuz I gotta have some bling!  LOL  Oh the possibilities with this set will blow you away!!!

I'm Copic Certified.......And James Bear In The Snow!!!

Smiley from millan.net

I just love this adorable image from Lili of the Valley stamps!  And how can I resist a James Bear??!!!  My hubby's name is James and he's just as cute....sometimes cuter! LOL

So this card is for two challenges that are new to me....I'm having fun checking out some new challenges lately!!  The first one is the Just Cute Bears & Friends Winter Birthday.  I will definitely be playing along with more of these challenges since I sure do love cute bears and critters!!!  LOL

The second challenge is Cards For Men Christmas Cards.  Making masculine cards is always a challenge for me....but cute bears make it easier!  So does a winter theme where I can get away with using bling!  LOL

I also made this for the Splitcoast Technique Lover's Challenge to combine some challenges in celebrations of the 300th Technique Challenge!!

I used Gina K. Pure Luxury Cardstock in White, Chocolate and Lipstick Red.  That Lipstick Red is one of my FAVE colors!!!  I used the Amber Autumn DCWV stack dp.  And then colored with my Copics!!

And yes!!!  I'm Copic Certified!!!!  I just got to take the Copic Certification Class and WOW!!!!  I love my Copics more than ever!!!  The amazingly talented Marianne Walker taught my class and I learned sooo much!!!  I'm sure hoping for an Intermediate class next year!!!

A little more new news.....my son is helping me build my own little website....it's actually his homeschool assignment!!  LOL  Isn't that the way to do it??!!  ;)  I'm hoping to start selling my cards and other craft projects.  How cool to be able to stamp and keep my own supply of bling high without using the family budget!!!  Hahahaha!!!  Just stay tuned....but it will be a work in progress!!  In the meantime....have a fun and Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Moxie Fab World's Tuesday Trigger.....Moxie Chic!!

Smiley from millan.netSmiley from millan.netSmiley from millan.netSmiley from millan.net

I love this week's Moxie Fab World's Tuesday Trigger......so very classy and elegant!!!!  Here is the inpsiration photo.....I do LOVE the color combination of black and red!!!!

I immediately knew I wanted to use Melanie's new A Year Of Borders stamp set by Gina K.  And to make a CAS card......YES!  I know!!  I'm kinda getting the hang of CAS sometimes!!!  LOL

The color combo is so striking that was my first inspiration.  But the rows of ruffles on the top made me think of borders and a formal type of look.  Hence the velvet ribbon above the butterflies.  Just a bit of Stickles on the butterfly wings for a hint of pizazz!!!  I used Pure Luxury Red Hot which really pops so brightly against the black and white!!  I hope you go check out the challenge and play along!!!

I have some fun gifty ideas and home-made goodies I'll share soon!  Meanwhile I'm enjoying my beautiful snowy weather outside while stampin' inside!!!

Gina K Sneak Peeks Day #3.................Light Of The Season and Heirloom Ornament!!!!

Here's our final day of peeks!!!

Smiley from millan.net

This is the Free With Three set designed by Gina called Light Of The Season.  It's perfect for quick holiday greetings!!  I decided to make a bright set of cards using Pure Luxury Red Hot and Wild Dandelion.  I colored with matching Copics and tied a big, wide bow!  I love big bows, but they take a bit of doing to get just right! LOL  Had to add a bit of Stickles to the flames!!

This gift set shows Nina's new set Heirloom Ornaments that also is designed to go perfectly with Heirloom Ornament Nestabilities!!!  I decided it would be fun to make some jewelry.....so I used shrink plastic to make some earrings using one of the ornament images and I stamped a different ornament image to cut out and use to decorate the glass tile.  I had to make a matching card using the fun, large sentiment and a matching little gift tin!!!  For the little earring holder I also stamped an ornament image. I used Pure Luxury Black Onxy, Ivory and Lipstick Red.  I will have individual photos on the Stamp TV Release Forum and in the Featured Gallery at the Release Party!!!  And I am working on a tutorial for the necklace...it's a very simple project but I've never made a tutorial, so that will take me some practice! LOL

Now hop along for some fabulous final peeks from my fabulous fellow DT members:

Gina K. Sneak Peeks Day #2...............Winter Wonderland Stamp TV Kit and Snow Much Fun!!!!

Smiley from millan.net

Tonite's peeks will have you singing "Walking Through A Winter Wonderland"!!!!

The newest Stamp TV Kit designed by Gina is called Winter Wonderland............and it truly is AMAZING!!!!  I stamped the 4 snowflakes into a pattern for a background and then glittered up the entire panel with Crystal Glitter......gotta have lots of shimmer on an icy, winter design! LOL  I think Pure Luxury Red Hot is so fun for a different winter look!!  The snowflakes are just the tip of the iceberg in this fabulous kit!!!  Hahahahaha......yep, another cheesy joke for you!!!!!  LOL

This is an absolutely ADORABLE set also designed by Gina called Snow Much Fun!!!!  And the cutie pie snowmen are just darling!!!  I stamped the cozy little house scene and the snowflakes around it and then popped up one of the snowmen. Pure Luxury Cranberry and Fresh Asparagus make a rich Christmas color combination.  I used the Snowflakes CB Embossing Folder you can see peeking out from the bottom layer.  And then Flower Soft for the snow and a bit of Stickles for the windows and the snowman outfit!

Gina K. Sneak Peeks Day #1..........A Year Of Borders and Winter Mittens!!!!!

Smiley from millan.netSmiley from millan.netSmiley from millan.netSmiley from millan.net

Welcome to a FABulously FUN-filled sneak week at Gina K. Designs!!!!!

First up is a GORJUSS set by Melanie Muenchinger called A Year Of Borders!!!  These gorgeous borders match so perfectly with so many of her stamp sets!!!  I used this butterfly border which matches A Beautiful Life.  I also stamped the butterfly from that set to layer on some of the border butterflies.  I chose to color the butterflies to match some of the Pure Luxury cardstock colors and then glittered a few butterflies to pop up.

Smiley from millan.net

Now a super cute set by Nina called Winter Mittens!!!  And these are designed to go with the cute Mitten Nestabilities!!!!  I went for more of a boyish theme with the blues and greens and just a touch of glitz on the mitten!  There are some totally fun and festive sentiments that are perfect for gift-giving too!!!  The Cranberry Tart Pure Luxury is the perfect Christmassy color!!!
