Ohhhhh and this is perfect for the early and very snowy winter that has hit us hard the past week and a half!!!!!!! LOL It's an adorable new set by Rupa called Winter Friends..........just wait until you see the cuteness factor of all the images!!!! I decided to make a snowy night scene full of fluffy Flower Soft snow...........of course all of our snow is not QUITE as fluffy as this and definitely much colder!!!!! LOL I used the GKD Pure Luxury In The Navy and White cardstock and then stamped the snowy cabins in Versamark and embossed in white. I used the white gel pen to make the night sky............could be stars, could be snowfall.........you choose!!! LOL

Gina K. Sneak Peeks Day #2............First Christmas & Vintage Borders!!!!

Ohhhh yeah!!!!! It's day 2 and we're sneaking peeks of 2 new Gina K. sets!!!!!!!!!!!


This first one is a very sweet set designed by Asela called First Christmas........and this precious teddy bear just grabbed my heart!!!! All I could think of is a snuggly pink, plaid blankie and matching bear for a little baby girl's first Christmas!!! So I attempted some more stitching......and until I use my Janome more often, I am sooooooooo happy I can watch the Stamp TV video over and over on how to thread that little machine!!!! LOL And of course girlie means I can layer and bling it up to my heart's content!!! LOL I used some of my favorite Pure Luxury Cardstock.........Cranberry Tart, Chocolate Kiss and White and the wonderful Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses!!!!

And then all the work of dp is done, so just a highlighting of the verse that's also in this set and your card is done!!! Okay, y'all KNOW I had to have a BIT of bling!!!!! LOL

What a perfect day for a SNOWMAN hop!!!! We're in a winter storm warning and enjoying quite the snow fall!!!! And what better excuse to stay cozied up baking and stamping???? So this year, I decided that I would do it again. Whimsical Autumn allowed me to donate more money that I ever could on my own and it gave me such personal satisfaction....so I illustrated Warm Winter Wishes for this year. And, just like Whimsical Autumn, I will donate 100% of my proceeds from the sale of this set to the Alzheimer's Association in my grandmother's memory. Always. This year's set includes a snowman that is holding a heart. There are small words you can stick inside the heart or you can leave it empty.

Lord Of The Season Holiday Hop!!!!!

Ahhh...........yes.........more great holiday ideas with a fun Gina K. Designs hop featuring the sweet Nina's newest seasonal set!!!

I thought I'd try a different color combo for this cute topiary!!! IRL the Copic blue actually matches the cardstock wonderfully, but the light hits it differently........I really need a better way to take photos!!!! LOL I also wanted to try more of a CAS design........hey........this IS CAS for me!!!! :) The snowflake cuttlebug folder is so fun and really accents the tree well I think!!! I used some small snowflake buttons for embellies and colored them with a red Copic........now that was a bit tricky!!!! LOL

Limelight Papercrafts Sketch........Birdie Blessings!!!!!!!

It's a beautiful Autumn Limelight Papercrafts sketch and product challenge Thursday!!!! Today the focus is on.........RIBBON!!! Ohhhh do I love, love, LOVE ribbon!!! Well, technically it falls under "embellishments" for me........so of course I love it!! I very rarely make a card without ribbon!!! So now.....play along with this sketch and add some ribbon......or twine.....or thread.....or fiber........show us whatcha got!!!!

I took this adorable sketch designed by our talented Lisa Henke and added it to a full size card..........so it's like 2 cards in 1.........you could use the small card that's the actual sketch for a gift size card.......or mount it onto an A2 size base!!!

I just LOVE this Jillibean Bean Stalks Birds Ribbon!!!! Okay, okay, okay........yes so I love ALL ribbon!!! LOL But you have to admit this ribbon goes sooo perfectly with so many of Unity Stamp Co. images!!! I used this sentiment from the Birdie Inspiration Kit. And of course some Kaisercraft Chocolate Pearls!!! I also used my new Houndstooth cuttlebug folder!!

A Very Merry Christmas Hop With Gina K.!!!

Ohhhh yep that's a Christmas tree!!! LOL A bit early I know.......despite the snow we've already had here!!! But this is a special Gina K. Designs hop featuring Theresa's gorgeous new vintage holiday set!!!

Now this was a new technique I got to practice from my online Copic class.........coloring on glossy paper......and it's tricky!!!!! But with enough colors I finally blended the pine needles right....I think!!! LOL I used the Pure Luxury cardstock.......Rocket Red, Green Apple and White. The ribbon is from the Ribbon Assortment Holiday pack. Some gold brads and snowflake brads and Stickles because I have to have me some sparkle and glitz!!!!! LOL

ETSY Inspired #57...........Enjoy Your Day!!!

I LOVE MY SNOW!!!! And it's a freeeeeeeeezing, snowy ETSY Inspired Saturday!!!! Perfect for stampin'!!!!! This week's shop is Kharliebug. Very sweet, floral handbags!!! I chose this pretty blue and brown and ivory bag.....I love it!!!!

For my card I used this adorable flower tree from the May KOTM from Unity Stamps. I soooo love these kits!!! I used Papertrey Inc. Cardstock, Aqua Mist, Dark Chocolate and Lemon Tart, and the Perfect Match Ribbon. I also used the Herringbone CB Folder I got at Gina K. Then added a few Kaisercraft Pearls from Limelight Papercrafts. Now those are some FABULOUS online stores where I love to shop!!!!

And this was our fabulously beeeeeeautiful scene here yesterday!!!!! I love the gorgeous frost on the trees!!!! Our Aspens have long turned and a stiff Autumn breeze fluttered them all to the ground........letting us know Winter is here!!!

Limelight Six Chicks Project Day!!!!

It's October 6...........and that means it's a Limelight Papercrafts Six Chicks project!!!! The theme for this month that Mandy suggested was Fall Decor...........and who doesn't LOVE the Fall season??!!!

I decided to make a little "Housewarming" gift for my little 4 1/2 year old niece!!! They just moved and she got a Big Girl room!!! She is very girly and loves butterflies and bling!!! Well, she **is** MY niece after all!! ;) Well, on hubby's side........but that doesn't matter! LOL

I used the new Jillibean Soup Minestrone line of dp. It's sooo cute and in the most fabulous Fall colors!!! The patterns here are Thin Zucchini and Sliced Leek......I LOVE the names of the dp!!! I covered a little box for little Mia to put her jewelry and other small treasures in.........then stamped the cute Jillibean Clear Stamps Butterflies set. I cut them out and popped them up for the lid and glitzed them with Stickles! The fabulous, amazing, yummy ribbon is called Beanstalks - 5 Color Polka......and I'm in LOVE with it!!! I then just covered a couple of mini candles with the dp and just popped a few Kaisercraft Pearls on in matching colors for the antennae of the butterflies. A quick matching card and I'm ready when she visits me in a couple weeks!!! (please don't worry..........the candles are only to help her feel like a "big girl"! Mom won't let her play with them! LOL).

Now I just have to share this photo........yesterday we lost power and water........as it got dark, I heard soft strumming music.........there my son was, practicing guitar out on the deck while our youngest kitty, Ryeanne, checked it out!! Yes, it gets down into the 30-40's at night here now so he's got his coat on!! But shorts too.........he's soooooo like his mama!!!! LOL The power came back on, but the well is down, so who knows what that saga will be like........ahhhh........mountain life! LOL I think we better get an extra generator up here before winter sets in!!!
