Gina K. Sneak Peek Day #4...........Warm Winter Wishes & Holiday Hospitality!!!

Smiley from millan.net

It's final Gina K. Sneak Peek Day!!!!!! Are you all just waaaaaaaaaay excited???? Soooo many fabulous, amazing, gorgeous, adorable stamp sets!!!!! Seriously you'll be able to make holiday or seasonal cards for ANY and EVERY style!!!!

This precious snowman is from Cammie's new set, Warm Winter Wishes, that benefits Alzheimer's. Cammie is not only amazingly talented, but so very sweet and generous and it's truly from her heart!!!! I used the new Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses.........it matches perfectly with both the Pure Luxury Cranberry Tart and Rocket Red cardstock colors!!! And more fabulous Gina K. ribbon here too!!!

  • Stamps: Warm Winter Wishes
  • Paper: GKD Pure Luxury White, Cranberry Tart, Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics
  • Accessories: Ribbon, Sakura Glitter Pen, Rhinestones, Fiber
I wanted to make a Winter Wishes gift set.......usually we make our own homemade cocoa mix, but I cheated and bought some Spiced Hot Cocoa packets!! And these are some saaaaaaweeeet new Clear Pillow Boxes that Gina is carrying in her store!! So perfect for treats with some tags and ribbon and bling!!! LOL

Now this is Gina's new Free With 3 set, Holiday Hospitality!!!! Now, when my hubby first saw me pull this kit out of the box........he said, "Hey, that looks like one of those Spanish shaker things."............Isn't he cute???!!!! He's not one who normally thinks outside of the box......mathmatical and computer whiz that he is!!!!! But he sure hit the nail on the head with this and I just could NOT wait to bring his idea to life!!!! So.....let's have a Fiesta!!!! LOL

  • Stamps: GKD Holiday Hospitality
  • Paper: GKD Pure Luxury White, Vibrant Purple, Green Apple, Rocket Red, DCWV Stack dp
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
  • Accessories: Ribbon, Sakura Glitter Pen, Brads, GKD Buttons, GKD Flowers
And what Fiesta is complete without party favors?? So I made a couple quick Sour Cream Favors and a Treat Pouch and then a little Treat Box as a Hostess gift........these Clear Square Boxes will also be available in Gina's store and are perfect for all types of little gifts!!! I used Pure Luxury Vibrant Purple, Rocket Red and Green Apple.......I am soooo in love with Gina's Pure Luxury cardstock!!! I used Gina's White Assorted Paper Flowers and just colored them with Copics to match the cardstock colors I used. I also used the buttons and ribbon that come in the new Stamp TV Kit!!!

ETSY Inspired #55 - Snow In September???

Smiley from millan.netSmiley from millan.netSmiley from millan.net

Snow in September??? YEP!!!!!!!! That was 3 days ago at my house!!!! I'm not sure our Aspens will actually completely turn into their beautiful gold now that they've been frozen solid!!!! LOL But you know I won't be complaining!!! I LOVE snow!!! And what a way to welcome in Autumn to my mountain!!!!! LOL

With that in mind.........here is the ETSY Inspired Challenge Blog pick for this week, The Salty Cat. Modern metal jewelry, and I found these cute snowmen for my inspiration!!!!

What a perfect time to pull out some of my favorite winter stamps!!!! I love this snowman from the Gina K. Designs stamp set, Let It Snow. I'm working on consistently creating some CAS cards to s-t-r-e-t-c-h myself!!!! LOL And the Cuttlebug Snowflake Folder sure is perfect for this little guy!!! Although I sure couldn't resist adding some bling!!!
Now hop on over to the ETSY Inspired Blog for all the deets on playing along so you can be entered into the drawing for a prize!!!! In fact.........there are 2 prizes!!!!! A beautiful bracelet from the Etsy Shop owner and a wonderful stamp set, Folk Inspired, by the Unity Stamp Company!!! I hope you play along!!!!!

ETSY Inspired #54 ~ I {heart} Flowers!!

Smiley from millan.netSmiley from millan.netSmiley from millan.net

It's a beeeeautiful ETSY Inspired Saturday!!!!!! Are you ready to play??? This week has to be one of my very FAVORITES so far!!!! I just LOVE flowers!!! And the flowers and jewelry in this shop are fabulously gorgeous!!!! The shop is I heart flowers...

This stunning purple flower caught my eye.......so colorful and detailed!!!!

  • Stamps: Hydrangea by PSX
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics
  • Paper: Gina K. Pure Luxury White, Paper Temptress Sparkle Purple
  • Accessories: Ribbon, Rhinestones, Cuttlebug
And I have sooooo enjoyed practicing, practicing, practicing my Copic coloring!!! I do love the smaller images too, less area to make mistakes!! LOL So these gorgeous hydrangea images are made up of little areas so coloring is actually very fun and pretty simple!!! And since the flowers are so colorful, a CAS design really shows the images best. I'm trying some different photo-taking techniques.....I'm struggling to get good photos at O'dark-thirty in the morning when I'm usually creating!! LOL So I think I like some of the photos with the black cardstock for the bg. What do you think??

Now our ETSY Inspired Blog is up and running..............so instead of posting Ashley's and the other fabulous and gorgeous DT blog links here............I want you to head to the ETSY Inspired Blog for all the details and links and that's where you'll post your challenge card for an entry to win a wonderful prize of beautiful jewelry from this week's shop!!!!

A Fruitful Harvest Gina K. Hop!!!!

Smiley from millan.net

Another fun and fabulous Gina K. Designs hop this time featuring the talented artist Asela Hopkins!!! This hop features her Fruitful Harvest stamp set.

In this card I wanted to show off the green grapes!! And the funky reddish/purple that grape leaves can be......which also meant lots of Copic Markers coloring practice and skipping housework!!! LOL I also just love these Nestie Labels!! I'm actually enjoying finding a sort of half-way CAS style lately!!!! LOL
I also wanted to show my very first piece of Stamped Artwork!!! I did show this at the release party, but I hadn't posted it on my blog yet. Again.......I have to say I'm really enjoying these beautiful images and the Copic coloring practice I'm getting!!!! This is just a simple black frame I bought at Wal-Mart or Target, I can't remember which. I used a mix of designer papers and the Gina K. Pure Luxury Cardstocks, Pumpkin Spice, Green Apple, Chocolate Kiss and White.

For even more inspiration with the Fruitful Harvest stamp set, head over to Asela Hopkin's blog, the illustrator of this beautiful stamp set. She has also asked her friend Deb Felts to share a card with us tonight too!

I decided to make some Autumn Treats........as the nights are cooler.......downright chilly here!!! Snuggling up with some Hot Cocoa or some Special Rooibos Tea..........heavenly!!!! So I made the Box In A Bag found on SCS for some of my favorite packs of Hot Cocoa!!!! I used the Basic Grey Mellow dsp. I also made a belly band for the yummmmy Candy Corn DOTS I found!! How fun are they?? I used the same dsp and also the Unity Stamps Itsy Bitsy Giggles. I thought the adorable trees matched the Mellow dsp soooo perfectly!!! I colored them with Copics to match. I pulled out one of my very first Unity Stamps, Mega Tea Cup, for the card. I LOVE this big ole stamp!!!! LOL I just stamped it in Memento Rich Cocoa and highlighted the very edges with a gold glitter pen. I HAD to use some of my very favorite Kaisercraft Chocolate Pearls!! And the Antique Gold/Brown ribbon is so coooool with these Fall colors!!!

I hope you warmed up a bit with these Autumn treats and enjoy hopping along thru the other Limelight Chickies and of course the sweet and talented Mandy for some more fun and fabulous Fall project inspiration!!!!
