I decided to go bright and cheery for a card for a friend who needs just a general pickmeup and happy hello!!!! I used Belinda's beautiful set, Sympathy Garden. I do love allllllll of Belinda's artistic and gorgeous flowers!!!! I also used Basic Grey dsp and of course some pearls and ribbon!!!

Limelight Sketch Day........Sweet Florals!!

It's a beautiful Limelight Papercrafts Thursday!!!!!! A fun sketch and product challenge with, of course, a chance to win a prize!!!! Don't forget to check out the awesome sales Mandy has at Limelight too!!!!



Here's the sketch..........and it's just right for the product focus that our FABulous Mandy has chosen..........Patterned Paper!!!! Yep!!!! Ohhh all the lovely, fantastic, amazing, gorgeous designer paper that none of us can EVER get enough of!!!! (Disregard that sentence ending in a preposition.......it's 3 a.m...........I have no brain! LOL). So pull out your paper..........that's right.........you can do it!!! CHOP IT UP!!!! Mwahahahaha!!!!! I think I may be the only crazy stamper who actually DELIGHTS in cutting up a fresh, new sheet of dp!!!! In fact, 2 of my sisters-in-law love coming to dig thru my containers of dp scraps!!! LOL Yes...........I have issues!!!!

I used some of my favorite Basic Grey designer paper.....Porcelain. Oh do I love Basic Grey...and Mandy has sooo much to choose from!!! And yes, I have them all!!! LOL I used 3 different designs out of that pack here..........they all harmonize so beautifully that it's easy to mix and match when creating!!! I used one of my new Unity Stamp kits, Gratitude = Joy.......the simplicity itself yet elegance of this kit is just wonderful!! And some fun two-toned Ruffle Ribbon and Rose Pearls of course!!! Gotta have embellies!! I put Crystal Effects on the images for a little extra POP!!! The photo corners may be a bit blended in, but I used the Gina K. Fancy Corner Punch.

HHH..........All About Heroes!!!!

It's the Unity Stamps HHH.............the theme is HEROES!!!! Yep..........did you guess??? My Hero............My Hubby............My Prince Charming!!!!!! Truly, my childhood was not happy, and worse. Well, this man.........came riding into my life when I was trying to break free from where I came from...........how I ever in a million years deserved that rescuing........I'll never know!!!

So.........in TRIBUTE to him.............here's my FIRST stampin' scrappin' page!!!!!!!! I did it!!! Oh all the FABULOUSLY talented Unity Scrapbook DT has had me wishing I could scrap for months now!!! So I did!!! LOL I know I have a lot to learn.........but it's very special to start with our wedding album. My wedding day was not a happy one in some ways.........it was not mine.........I wasn't paying for it as I was reminded time and again..........so I had very few choices. HOWEVER............I'm one who will tell you that in fact it WAS THE HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!!!! Why??? Because I went home with James!!!! That's all that mattered!! So starting with our wedding album and scrapping/stamping/arranging it how ****I**** want is rather cathartic.......and I'm finding much joy in it!! In my journalling I made sure to write that he is the first to ever show me what unconditional love was/is..........that's so very meaningful to me and truly has bound us together forever in the most amazing way!!!! He is still my Prince Charming and blesses me and spoils me everyday!!!!

This is the first page I did.........it's so representative of our lives uniting into one!!! I have a romantic and very special story about my bouquet........but I'll share that with another page of this album!!!! LOL So stay tuned!!! I used many of the amazing Unity Stamps kits........truly wonderful stamps for card-making and as I'm sure finding out............scrapbooking!!! I used the February and March KOTMs and Feel The Joy and Spring In The Mail. And of course staying true to my style............HAD to bling it up!!!!! LOL Stickles, Flowers,Ribbon, Gems and Pearls.....oh my!!!!

I hope my first page was a success............well, it is for me.........but I'll gladly take some tips from you seasoned scrappers!!! This is an 8x8 page.........how do you ever fill up a 12x12 page??? YIKES!!!! LOL

Unity KOTM Blog Hop............We Are All Unity!!!!

SCROLL DOWN ONE FOR THE ETSY CHALLENGE!!!!

I sure hope you are enjoying this FABULOUS and Unity Stamps Inspirational Hop so far!!! I can only do a fairly short post as I had to drive almost an hour into town to score some free internet from a hotel parking lot!!! LOL Our internet is down and the phone company has no idea why or when it will be back!! Oh well...........the important thing is I'm here and didn't break the HOP chain!!!! LOL Make sure to start at Angela's Blog so you can enjoy the entire Hop!!!

With so many awesome Kits Of The Month and other amazing Kits.........I thought I'd put together a fun Chipboard Album to showcase lots of different stamps!!! This Tree Album fits in so well with many of Unity's stamps!! And I used dp from the very cool Green Stack by DCWV.

I made a 10 "page" album, but can only post a few close-ups for now...........this page features the April KOTM.........one of my very favorites!!!! That little dress form is too cute!!! And I don't even know how to sew!!! LOL


The sentiment here comes from You + Me = Happy...........I did sneak in a few images not from KOTMs.......they just fit so well WITH all the KOTMs............that's yet another reason I **ADORE** Unity..........the style of all the stamps go so well together and make for even more versatile projects/stamping/scrapping!!!!

I totally fell in LOVE with this little camper!!!!! It's from the August KOTM........isn't it adorable??? The dainty little butterfly is also from the August kit. And the big butterfly is another from the April KOTM.

I had to use Tanis' newest tree here called, Plant A Tree, and the Unity Logo for the last page of this album!!! As you can see I used lots of embellies!!! Well, y'all HAD to expect THAT, didn't you???!!!! LOL I sponged the edges and used several of the KOTMs.......as you'll see when I post more of the pages when I actually have my internet!!! LOL

I'll post the entire album in my SCS gallery after the weekend and post more of the pages eventually here........I really enjoyed making this album.........I hope you got some great ideas and if you already haven't done so........totally you MUST sign up for the Kit Of The Month!!!! It's a LimeLight Tulle Challenge!!!!!

It's Limelight Papercrafts Thursday!!!! It's time for another Limelight Sketch and Product Challenge! And this week, the focus is on TULLE! This is actually the first time I've ever used Tulle in card-making!!!! But I see a definite place for it next to all my ribbon now!!!! Some of you may not have any tulle. Well, we want to change that by giving away some tulle to one lucky winner! And for this challenge, if you don't have tulle, don't worry! Use another ribbon, lace, cloth....or even a tulle skirt image! OR...skip the tulle all together. We still want to see what you can do with this sketch!



I used the brand new Love Ewe from Unity Stamps!!! I just LOVE that Mandy carries Unity!!!! And I could NOT resist this adorable little Duo!!!! I decided to make a little boy card and was inspired by a little guy who hasn't arrived yet!! A sweet little boy named Parker........his mama, Ashley, is ready to meet him soon!!! As are all of his stampin' Aunties!!!! LOL I used some velvet brads I had in my stash that just happened to match!! And I tied the Tulle just like ribbon and I really like the soft effect!!! Of course I had to add SOME bling!!! And the Ice Blue Rhinestones are just perfect!!! Be sure to play along!!!

Belli Challenge...........And A Few RAKS!!!!

It's a BELLI Wednesday!!!! Check out the Creative Belli Blog for all the deets for this week's challenge!!! It's a Color Combo this time...........in SU colors it's Apricot, Celery and Coral. I didn't have the coral, so I substituted some designer paper with a bit darker coral color.

And Ashley knows me well............her and I share a love of PINK and BLING!!!! LOL You know she just WON the Unity Stamps Grand Prize (the Kit Of The Month free for a YEAR) for THIS AMAZING PROJECT!!!!!! Way to go Ash!!!! And 8 months pregnant?? You are a wonder!!!!

ETSYInspired #35.........Flower Garden........And My Announcement!!!

Ahhhh...........Spring is here!!!!! Well, the short version that we get anyway!!! LOL And Ashley picked an ADORABLE Etsy Shop, Bealoo, for our inspiration challenge today!!!!

This gorgeous and cheerful flower image caught my eye!!! And it was so perfect for SEVERAL of my Clear Artistic Stamps!!!! Belinda has so many gorgeous flowers she's drawn, so I used flowers from Whispers In The Woods, Sympathy Garden, Flight Of My Dreams and Echos Of Summer, all part of the Capacious Collection.


I used the beautiful Shimmer Paper that Belinda carries, and my new Memento Markers from Gina K. But I did learn that the Memento Ink does smear somewhat on the shimmer paper, so I colored very gently and not completely with the lighter colors. I think it looks kinda artsy though and not too bad!! LOL Notice there is ZERO bling............ZERO bling people!!!! However there IS pink..........so not all is lost!!!! LOL Be sure to play along and upload your creations to Ashley's Blog by next Friday night for a chance to win a prize!!!!

Who doesn't LOVE shopping?????!!!!!! Well, I've been in gift-card holder mode as I have some family weddings, graduations coming up!!! And so for my Unity Stamps HHH post.........what better than a bright, cheerful spending spree????!!!! LOL

I used the adorable kit Spring Is In The Mail!!!! And the sentiment is from Simply Said. Here's the wonderful Video Tutorial by Dawn Griffith that was referenced on a SCS challenge.......shows how this gift card holder very, very simple to make and then you can decorate it however you'd like!!!! Of course I had to use some Stickles and Dew Drops!!! LOL

Limelight Six Chicks..........Oh Baby!!!!!

Happy May 6th!!!! And that means it's time for the Limelight Six Chicks project showcase!!!!! And this month it's all about BABIES!!!! What a great theme that our sweet Mandy chose for this month!!! Don't we all just love babies??!!! I know I sure miss the cuddly, sweet days when mine were tiny!!!

I just LOVE this Unity Stamp kit, A Mix-Up Of Cuteness!!!! This little whale is soooo darn adorable and perfect for new little baby boys!!!! I thought I'd try stamping on this Paint Can with Memento Ink. It worked okay, but the lines did smear a bit as my hands aren't perfectly still!!! LOL But some pretty Stickles highlight the sweet little whale and hide those squiggles!!!!

I just HAD to use the new Lime Ricky Basic Grey dsp!!! I love the bright colors and these patterns were soooo perfect for the watery theme!!! And the Dewdrops....well, they look like bubbles on the card!!! At least I hope they do!!!! LOL

So here's the little outfit that's inside the paint can..........keeping the blue and yellow color scheme!!! Baby clothes are so darn cute that I can't resist sometimes!! I don't know if you can see it well enough, but the whale on the top of the can and on the card are covered with Crystal Effects and I also used Mermaid Stickles to highlight the Lil Squirt on the can.

Don't you just love to snuggle a soft, comfy friend when you're sick or down??? Okay, so maybe we don't so much as adults.........but we sure wish we still had a fluffy friend sometimes, don't we??!!! LOL Well, that's what I thought of when I saw the adorable shop, Adopt-A-Critter that Ashley picked for our ETSY Inspired challenge this week!!!!

Look at this hilariously CAAAAAute lil guy!!!!! Now, as I'm still on the road, I did have a limited availability of my stamps and images........so I decided to use this cuddly Teddy Bear from Belinda's Clear Artistic Design stamp set, Forever Friends. Throughout the month of May........everytime you place an order at Clear Artistic Stamps you'll be entered into a drawing to win a mega teriffic prize!!!!

I saw these tiny little Composition Notebooks in Wal-Mart and just had to get a couple to alter. I made this for my adorable little 4 y.o. niece, Mia!!! She's a true girly girl and loves sparkle.....just like her Auntie Lee!!!! LOL Sorry the picture's not the best..........hotels just do not have wonderful lighting!!!! I "roughed up" the fur by using my Copic Blender after I colored him in with the Dark Walnut Copic.
