Sorry I'm a tad late...................yes, I did get lost............again..........driving around trying to get lunch first and then get back to my hotel in time!!! I'll post the challenge and then I'll be adding my sample card in a few minutes............it's crazy here at the moment!!!! My challenge is a Color Challenge.................make a card or project using Black, White and PINK!!!! That's it!!! Of course if you use BLING you get extra credit!!! LOL Be sure to use the keyword EICLee when uploading to Papercraft Planet!!


Here's my card................I do so love these Gina K. Take Flight butterflies!! And so perfect in pink!!! Well of course I'd say that!!! LOL I found this fun dp at a little stamp/scrap store we found and of course some bling!!!

HHH..........On The Road!!!!

LOL..............isn't she cute?? Okay, so we're all piled into the SUV, but still we are on the roadtrip!! We're in Wichita Falls right now and will be stamping and geocaching with some wonderful SCS friends we've made!!!

Didja get to Hip Hop with Unity Stamps on Splitcoast???? I didn't...........we were in 3 different States while Hip Hop was Happenin'!!!!! LOL But I know as usual there were incredible specials, awesome creations, fantastic chatting and amazing prizes!!!! I really didn't want to miss HHH though...........so just a quick post!!! Here's a card a bit outside of my normal style I did for one of the VSN challenges. It uses stamps from the August Kit of the Month. BELLI Wednesday and Limelight Goodies with a Prize!!!

It's a Beautiful BELLI Wednesday!!!

What is the Belli Challenge you ask? Each week, Chrissy gives us a challenge that will use things we have lying around our stamp rooms or homes! With a constant flow of new things coming out, we tend to forget about the other things we have and they quickly become clutter! I really wanted this stamp set when I found out a friend was getting rid of it!! Yet I haven't even inked it up yet!! LOL So this was a perfect chance!!! And for me.........Bliss is all of the things this card makes me think of!!! Pink and Brown, Chocolate, Basic Grey..........ahhhh.......heaven!!!!! ;)

Now some Limelight and Unity GOODNESS!!!! This is some gorgeous cardstock called Bling Envy and Bling Tootsie that's actually in the fun Clearance section at Limelight Papercrafts!!! This cardstock is sooo shimmery plus it's textured!!! I LOVE it!!! And the fun, bright colors I used are perfect for a little friend I made this for!!! I used the soooo sweet Delectable Delights kit by Unity Stamps. And of course the chocolates are the true treats here!!!! LOL

HHH.........With A VSN Sneak Peek!!!!

Hip Hop Hangover............Fluttery Style!!! Of course the Unity Stamps SCS Hip Hop was soooo fun!!!! Even though I only got to Hop for a little bit.........I've got lots of VSN samples to finish up and I'm running out of time!!!! LOL

I've only made a couple cards with Inchies.......but they're really starting to grow on me!! For this one I used Melanie's A Year In Flowers and Say It With Flowers by Gina K. Designs...........you all just KNOW how I love my Gina K.!!!! I decided on the sweet lily and tried to make them look more like Daffodils........my favoritest flower ever!!!!! And I really love the pink and yellow color combo and this Basic Grey dsp!!! I made this card for a very sweet friend who's going through a difficult time.......this sentiment is just soooooo perfect when it's really hard to actually find the words to say!!! I just used some sheer ribbon and a bit of bling.

I just wanted to be able to send a card to let her know I care..........I wish I would have had some wonderful words of wisdom to share........but I didn't.........and I don't. But I do know that just to see that so many people care, it truly does make it just a teeny, tiny bit more bearable. Not better, because we aren't the ones that can heal the hurt and pain from death.........but just to be able to send a hug and a prayer can make that burden seem just the least bit lighter.

I made this little treat holder........well, I'm experimenting with some ways to make some little gifties..........and watermarks too obviously..........but I forget to use it on most of my photos!!!! LOL This is a simple 2, 5, 7, 10 box that I made using the SCS Template.......and I'm getting addicted at how simple but cute they can be!!! I used Melanie's Cuddles & Hugs set for this.........and Copics.......still practicing!!! LOL And those are super yummy Hot Cocoa Kisses!!!!

This was for a past Etsy challenge......I love the look of Swiss Dots and roses!!! The gorgeous rose image is from Melanie's A Year In Flowers set. I stamped the roses in Pretty In Pink and colored the stems with a Copic and then ran it thru the Cuttlebug. The sentiment came from Melanie's Say It With Flowers stamp set.

It's Friday...........so it's Unity Stamps HHH time!!!!!!!!!!!! What a super fun time yet again!!!! And you've GOT to go check out the specials...........until midnight tonite (Friday)!!!!!!! I've got just one quick card to share today..........it's been an incredibly busy week and I'm not quite, but almost back to normal!! LOL......whatever that may be!!!! ;) This card I made for my little niece.........it's got these AAAAAdorable penguins that I just love!!!! And they're all glittered up just for her!!! (okay, okay, and me too..........I know I'm a glitter obsessed addict!!!) LOL Seriously though.........I believe Jolly Little Winter was one of my very first Unity Stamp kits I bought.........and it remains one of my faves!!! "One of" because there are sooooo many delightful kits and so many more in the works all the time!!!! And besides, it's snowing here, so I'm definitely in "snow mode"!!!! Growing In Unity....Day 4....Itty Bitty Love!!!

WoooooHooooo!!!!!! Have you all enjoyed this Unity Week at my blog??? I sure hope so!! I know I have had a FANTASTIC time creating Unity Goodies for you all!!!! Thank you soooo much to Angela for letting me be part of this FABulous Unity Stamps family!!!! Actually, everyone is treated like family at Unity!!!!

Well, the Wednesday Unity Addict's Challenge was to make a tiny valentine!! So I made a trio of ATC's!!!! They're so cute and quick and fun to make!!! This first one uses the January Kit of the Month. Basic Grey Bittersweet dsp and some ribbon and stickles and gems, OH MY!!!! LOL

This next ATC uses the new Love Grows kit...........I soooooooooooo love this sweet kit!!! And this is truly some of my Favorite Ribbon from Limelight Papercrafts!!! I colored with Copics and used some red Stickles and more gems of course!!!! LOL

And for this final ATC, my favorite color combo of pink and brown with the gorgeous Bittersweet dsp!! This adorable image is from the August KOM. It's sooo cute!!!! AND....oh my gosh...Mandy sent me some of this FABULOUS new Heart Edge Ribbon she got in at Limelight.......ohhhhh seriously I'm in LOVE with it!!! Isn't it absolutely darling??!!!!

Well, here they are!!! I thought I could just tuck them somewhere to surprise each of my kiddos and my hubby!!! Of course the Kiss Me goes to hubby!!!! Growing In Unity....Day 3.....Recipe and BELLI Fun!!!

It's a FABulous Unity Stamps Wednesday!!! Well, it's snowy and blowy here, so what better than some home-made goodness??? Yep.........this is one of our family's most favorite recipes EVER!!! Pumpkin Bread.........ohhhh the cinnamon, nutmeg and clove aroma is heavenly as it bakes!!!


Here's a little gift tag I was gonna display on a freshly baked loaf..............however.............my daughter decided that the loaves needed to be immediately cut into squares and put in serving bowls..........why??? I have ZERO idea on how her mind works!!!! LOL So you'll just have to imagine that lovely pumpkin bread loaf!!! ;) I used my new Homemade By kit!!! How fun these will be for recipe cards and collections!!!!
And here's the recipe!!! Yes, I'm sharing it with you all!!! Trust me.........you are gonna LOVE it!!!! Again I used the Homemade By kit..........and had to use some bling of course!!! It's 6x6....now to eventually finish putting lots of recipes together and making a little family recipe collection!!!

Now it's also another Beautiful BELLI Wednesday!!!! What is a Belli Challenge? Each week, Chrissy gives us a challenge that will use things we have lying around our stamp rooms or homes! With a constant flow of new things coming out, we tend to forget about the other things we have and they quickly become clutter! This week's challenge is to use DOILIES!!!! You know, I've never used a doily in a card before!! And yet I have 3 packages of heart doilies that were just sitting there waiting patiently!!! LOL So I combined a white heart doily with my new Love Grows kit!!! OMGosh do I LOVE this kit!!! I totally had a BLAST making this card.....what do you think?? Growing In Unity, Day 2......I've Been Thinking....

Welcome to Day 2 of Growing In Unity!!! Are you a Unity Stamp addict like me?? So do you just love books and journals as much as I do??? I LOVE notebooks and journals especially!!! I'm starting one right now with all the POWERful and MEANINGful quotes I see and hear........especially some truly special ones from Angela who is amazing and inspiring!!!! Back-to-school shopping has been one of my most favorite times ever to shop!!! And I homeschool!!! LOL But all the notebooks are on such good sales and I just have to stock up.........I attempt to dodge the looks from hubby reminding me that I have quite a stash still from the past year or so!!!

Well, now that I've discovered this FABulous world of stamping and paper crafting.........I have a reason to constantly stock up!!! Journals and calendars and notebooks make such WONderful gifts!!!! Now I've got to start making some matching pens too!!! LOL

I found this little album/sketchbook and thought it would be fun to alter! I unbent the rings and took off the covers and then used Basic Grey Bittersweet dsp. I used a sharp little razor to cut out the squares and then replaced the spiral. I used the dainty Dandelions from the August KOM and cut them out and popped them up..........the sentiment is sooooo perfect for a journal!!! And then just adding some bling and ribbon......well, of COURSE there has to be bling and ribbon!!! LOL I painted the flowers with some Shimmerz.........kinda hard to capture....but I love the glitz!!! Gotta give a shout out to Mandy at Limelight Papercrafts for all my bling and also for carrying Unity Stamps!!!!

So I finally got a chance to use this PRECIOUS peacock from the January Kit of the Month!!!! Having bronchitis and a sinus infection at the same time has seriously been NO FUN!!! But I finally got some antibiotics and felt like creating!!! And of course the very first peacock I made HAD to be PINK!!!!!!!! LOL I know you all really did expect that!!!! ;) Using the gorgeous Basic Grey Bittersweet dp and plenty of bling.........I had fun with this pink and black color combo!!! I used just a bit of stickles on some of the peacock feathers too! I thought this sentiment that's also part of the KOM was so perfect for this pink, precocious and princessy peacock!!! LOL

HHH In The Limelight!!!!!

It's the 6th!!!!!!! You know what that means??? It's the Limelight Six Chicks Special Project!!!! And my very first special project as I'm a new Chick!!!! :) It's also HHH after a fun romp and a Hip Hop Thursday on SCS.........and since Limelight Papercrafts loves Unity and carries lots of wonderful Unity Stamps.....it's a perfect combination!!!


My project is a complete Gift Set..........starting with a little Note Card. The dp I used is SU, but everything else is from Limelight Papercrafts including lots of the amazing Unity stamps!!! I used the butterfles and a sentiment from the December Kit of the Month and the August Kit of the Month. You can find the White Satin Ribbon and the Pink Ribbon and the always beautiful Rhinestones at Limelight!!! You know how I LOVE my bling!!!! LOL

Now this Butterfly Chipboard Album I bought at Limelight............'cuz I LOVE Butterflies and I've wanted to try altering one of these!! Mandy has some really fun chipboard albums and I'll be trying some of the other ones soon!!! I thought some various butterflies from Butterfly Beauty and Spunky Princess along with the KOM butterflies would be fun to decorate with thru the album.......along with a few sentiments from Mix Up of Cuteness and Something Within and Love Grows. There are also places left for my friend to put some little photos that are special to her!! Lots of different fun ribbon...just go take a look at all the gorgeous RIBBON Mandy carries!!!

And of course I also used Kaisercraft Blush Pearls along with Kaisercraft Champagne Pearls and then some Kasiercraft Mint Green Rhinestones. Seriously.....I totally adore the bling that Mandy carries!!!! I'm in heaven!!! LOL

I thought I'd also make a quick matching Journal...........I just {{{heart}}} all these butterflies!!!! And Ribbon and Bling make any notebook special!!!

So here's a photo of the complete set!! I truly had such fun creating this......and I think and hope it's a gift that my friend would really just love and cherish!!! And I hope you enjoy checking out all the amazing projects that the Six Chicks and Mandy have to share!!!!

The challenge is from our own fabulous Ryann and is to make a Valentine card with non-traditional colors. So I used the fun dp from the Basic Grey Boxer pack!! Some Cinnamon and Patina Stickles and Dew Drops add just a touch of glitz!!! Can you believe I made a card without PINK???????!!!!!! ROFL!! But I ***did*** still get some glitz on there!!!! It's a BELLI Valentine Challenge!!

It's a BELLI Wednesday!!!!!

It's official!!! Chrissy has asked me to join the BELLI Challenge DT!!! And if you've ever participated you know how FUN these challenges are!!!

What is a Belli Challenge? Each week, Chrissy gives us a challenge that will use things we have lying around our stamp rooms or homes! With a constant flow of new things coming out, we tend to forget about the other things we have and they quickly become clutter! This week is Belli Challenge #53 and we are working with Valentines or Hearts.

Perfect timing, right??? So I used one of my new sets I haven't inked up yet............it's from Clear Artistic Stamps by Belinda and called Sweetpea Sweetheart!! I LOVE it!!! So I decided to make a fun and glitzy hearts and flowers card for my VSN Secret Sister!!!

I used Real Red and Whisper White and couldn't resist my Red Stickles!!! I popped up one image of the hearts to give a little dimension. I just love the fancy, romantic font in this set!!!!
