It's the Unity Stamps HHH.............the theme is HEROES!!!! Yep..........did you guess??? My Hero............My Hubby............My Prince Charming!!!!!! Truly, my childhood was not happy, and worse. Well, this man.........came riding into my life when I was trying to break free from where I came from...........how I ever in a million years deserved that rescuing........I'll never know!!!
So.........in TRIBUTE to him.............here's my FIRST stampin' scrappin' page!!!!!!!! I did it!!! Oh all the FABULOUSLY talented Unity Scrapbook DT has had me wishing I could scrap for months now!!! So I did!!! LOL I know I have a lot to learn.........but it's very special to start with our wedding album. My wedding day was not a happy one in some ways.........it was not mine.........I wasn't paying for it as I was reminded time and again..........so I had very few choices. HOWEVER............I'm one who will tell you that in fact it WAS THE HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!!!! Why??? Because I went home with James!!!! That's all that mattered!! So starting with our wedding album and scrapping/stamping/arranging it how ****I**** want is rather cathartic.......and I'm finding much joy in it!! In my journalling I made sure to write that he is the first to ever show me what unconditional love was/is..........that's so very meaningful to me and truly has bound us together forever in the most amazing way!!!! He is still my Prince Charming and blesses me and spoils me everyday!!!!
This is the first page I did.........it's so representative of our lives uniting into one!!! I have a romantic and very special story about my bouquet........but I'll share that with another page of this album!!!! LOL So stay tuned!!! I used many of the amazing Unity Stamps kits........truly wonderful stamps for card-making and as I'm sure finding out............scrapbooking!!! I used the February and March KOTMs and Feel The Joy and Spring In The Mail. And of course staying true to my style............HAD to bling it up!!!!! LOL Stickles, Flowers,Ribbon, Gems and Pearls.....oh my!!!!
I hope my first page was a success............well, it is for me.........but I'll gladly take some tips from you seasoned scrappers!!! This is an 8x8 page.........how do you ever fill up a 12x12 page??? YIKES!!!! LOL
