I do so love making backgrounds with stamps....and with these flowers I could add lots of bling!  And see the pink?  See???  You all thought I forgot about my pink just cuz I strayed yesterday??  LOL  I thought a pastel Springy card would bring a smile and I made this thank you card especially for a friend who I am thankful for!  I do love layering my sentiment tags....I combined both Spellbinders Fancy Tags 1 and 2.  I used Pure Luxury colors of Bubblegum Pink, Lemon Drop, Key Lime and Ocean Mist.

Alas!  I left that little bitty stamp at home and couldn't make a card to show....I'll make up for it later, I promise!  For now close your eyes and imagine a frilly pink butterfly card!  LOL

Today we're showing the newest Stamp TV Kit, Petals & Wings......

I do love each and every Stamp TV Kit.....and this one is no exception!!  It's so dainty and sweet and SPRING!!!

I thought I'd focus on these adorable little birdies.....and paper piecing them makes the Ocean Mist Pure Luxury sky look so real with the sunshine there in the corner!  Ok, not really, but we can create anything when crafting!!  LOL  I used some lace and pearls and rhinestones OH MY so I could keep it blingy and girlie! 

Here's a little set I made and showed at the release party in case anyone missed the party....they are fun but hop along at a crazy rate! LOL

This uses the adorable hot air balloon image and the butterfly image from the kit.  It also uses the beautiful new Petals & Wings dp that goes along with the Kit!!  I love the plaid!!!  So some flowers and bling and ribbon were perfect to make a little gifty set with some chocolates in the box!!

So perfect for masculine cards!  And just 3 different gray Copic markers and you've got an elephant colored and ready to go!  I stamped the small elephant silhouette to make a little background panel and then I had to use Gina's new Sundance dp!  And some burlap ribbon!  No bling....well does one little spiral clip REALLY count as bling?  I say not!  LOL  Seriously this set is gonna be WILD to play with!!!

First up is the new set Wild Flowers by Melanie...........

I am hostessing one of the Stamp TV Anniversary Challenges to make a Memory Keeper that Gina showcased in one of her videos.  Come play along!  I used the brand new Petals and Wings designer paper along with Pure Luxury Lipstick Red and Bubblegum Pink.  Two of my most FAVE Pure Luxury colors!!!  I actually anchored the image panel to the bottom of the Keeper so that the top flap can easily stay put when slid into place.  Both the Memory Keeper and the Info Cards are also available as free templates at Stamp TV on our Freebies Tab!!




Now here's a fabulous set Masculine Tags by Tami.........

Since it's a masculine card I did cut down on the bling! LOL  But I snuck in a little bit!  Heehee!  I used the Casual Friday designer paper and Pure Luxury in Black Onyx and Sweet Corn.  I used the Scor Pal to make a bit of texture.  I can't wait to get the Nesties that match this set.....I hand cut these to layer them.  I love the sentiments in this set.....my husband IS my hero and I love that I can make him a card that says just that!

Leap Day Card and Sweet Pea Fairy!!!!

So just because ANY holiday is an excuse to create a stamping challenge.............I couldn't resist a challenge to make a card/page/project using an image of something that LEAPS!!!!!

I used these darling little bunnies from Lili Of The Valley.....and I'm happy to do some more enabling!!  LOL  Ooooops!  I forgot to FLUFFY up the bunny tail!  Well I'll have to do that before I send this off to someone!  I used the Copic Cool Grays to color the little girl bunny and the Warm Grays to color the boy bunny.  And I just HAD to add bling and texture and color!!!  Even though we had some "Flash Blizzards" up here yesterday, it was fun to make a Springy card!  I can make any card in any season....just depends what I feel like coloring at the moment!!  LOL




Now for a very special card.....I played along with the Sweet Pea Stamps White on White Challenge.  I really do love the elegance of an all-white card.  Except for coloring we were to keep it all white. And I just ADORE the Sweet Pea Stamps fairies and mermaids!!!

This image is really special to me since it's very similar to my tattoo!!  So how could I resist ordering it....and really, you can't order just one, so I HAD to order several new stamps!  LOL  So I kept the colors soft and just used the Sakura Glitter Pen for the wings.  Then some nesties and embossing and pearls and flowers and ribbon....umm...yes....just because it was white on white doesn't mean I still can't load up on embellies and layers!!!  LOL

Wild Orchid.......White Plus One Challenge!!!

Ok...first I have to say how much I AAAAAAAADORE Wild Orchid Crafts flowers!!!!  Especially all the Mulberry flowers!  Ohhh my heck I can't ever order enough!!!  LOL  In fact....I just put another order in today and I refuse to admit how much!!!!

So the challenge this week at the Wild Orchid Challenge Blog is a color challenge to use White plus One other color (except for some coloring and a neutral).  So I picked a light, fresh green like Springtime to use with White.  Yes......even though Spring is still months away from my snowy mountain home!  LOL

I do so LUV fairies!!!!  Well, sweet and dainty ones that is!!!  ;)  And these Wee Stamps by Whimsy are just precious!!  This one is Silver Fairy.  They are fabulous to work on my Copic coloring practice also!!!  I am really hoping I can find my paper where I jotted down the colors I used for this image....sheesh!  I need a keeper!  LOL  Anyway....I used Gina K. Pure Luxury White (which is my FAVE for Copics!!!) and Creme de Menthe and Authentique Uncommon dp.  Of course I used my Wild Orchid Flowers and some always pretty Prima Pearl Swirls.  I used some Sakura Stardust Glitter Pen for touches of glitz on her wings.  And some gorgeous satin ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  And let me just say again how much I use my Scor-Pal for every.single.card!!!!  Well now....how's that for a bunch of fun shopping links for you??!!!  I'm happy to enable....it makes me feel much better about my own total immersion addiction to all things stampy!!!!

I am enjoying finally feeling better and just having fun stamping!!!  My wonderful FIL and hubby finished my amazing Scrap Cabinet....and I promise as soon as I can get moved and organized back into my little stamp room I will post photos!!!!  It's phenomenal!!!  I hope you all have some stampy time soon!!!
